If you want your program trip planning and archiving to be more efficient, reduce risk and to improve future training for trip leaders, this is the pre-conference workshop for you!  Learn the basic functions of GPS, photograph and mapping program integration and datastorage strategies to develop customized interactive ‘guidebooks’.

Use them to brief trip leaders; review known and potential hazards, as well as evacuation routes. Best of all, every time you go back to that location, you can collect fresh data to prevent your content from becoming stale or outdated based on the season, development or even water levels. This dynamic course will show you how to use readily available technology to drastically improve your program trip planning and archiving and for each and every course area your program utilizes.
