Joining the Service Crew is an opportunity available to all individuals registered to attend the WEA International Conference on Outdoor Leadership.
The purpose of the Service Crew is three-fold:
1) Provide conference attendees a way to attend the conference at a deeply discounted rate
2) Provide necessary support for the conference coordinators to run the event smoothly
3) Provide an opportunity for conference attendees to network and gain practical experience within the context of event operations.
Service Crew members are expected to:

contribute between of 8 and 16 hours of service to the conference between Saturday, February 18 and Tuesday, February 21.

pre-register and pre-pay for the full conference (Feb 19-21)

attend a mandatory service crew meeting at 7:30 am on the mornings you are assigned to work.

work at least one shift during workshop time.

maintain professional presence, service and support while 'on duty'
Service Crew Applications will be considered complete when the WEA National Office has received this form submission along with registration and payment. We will do our best to accomodate all individuals who submit Service Crew applications however applications will be capped if necessary and priority may be given based on availability, schedule flexibility, and areas of interest.
