on how to get to the Guest House from the airport!

Attendees who wish to take TRAX to the conference should ride the Red line to the Fort Douglas stop ("A" on the map).  Then proceed across the Legacy Bridge, past the Officers Club parking lot (labeled in RED) and building, and turn left at the stop sign ("B" on the map).  The University Guest House will be at the north end of Fort Douglas Blvd. on the left hand side ("C" on the map).  The map below displays the walking route from the TRAX station to the University Guest House.

Join the WEA as we host the 2014 International Conference on Outdoor Leadership in beautiful Salt Lake City, Utah. The conference will feature workshops centered on the WEA curriculum’s educational components, research and program symposiums, a keynote address about current issues facing outdoor leaders, and a celebration of 50 Years of the Wilderness Act. Stay tuned for more information and registration (and yes, we know this is during Super Bowl weekend -- we plan to include some social time so folks can watch the big game together).

$225 for Professional/Organizational Members
$100 Student/Enthusiast Members

One Day ONLY:
$100 - Option to select Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday ONLY

Meal Plans:
All Full Conference Attendees have two meal plan options:

  1. Daily Dining Hall Pass ($75.00) to include breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the Dining Hall (5 min walk from the Conference Center). The Super Bowl Party ($20.00) and Banquet Dinner ($30.00) can be selected as add ons for an additional fee.
  2. Catered Meals Pass ($156.00) to include breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the Conference Center. This option includes the Super Bowl Party and Banquet Dinner.

*One Day ONLY attendees can purchase dining hall meals at the dining hall.*
