Certification is through

the Wilderness Medicine Training Center (WMTC)

Re-certifies WAFA, WFR, & WEMT graduates from accepted providers. We have direct reciprocity with Wilderness Medicine Outfitters (WMO), First Lead, Aerie Wilderness Medicine, Desert Mountain Medicine (DMM), Stonehearth Open Learning Opportunities (SOLO), Wilderness Medicine Institute of NOLS (WMI), Sierra Rescue, and Wilderness Medical Associates (WMA).

Cost is $200 before May 1st; $250 after.

This course is a WMTC Distance Learning Project (DLP) course. You will receive WMTC's water-proof handbook, a data DVD, and access to an on-line text. You must pass the on-line test prior to attending the the practical session. Click here for details
