Women’s Only trip! Explore over 40 miles of the magnificant Pacific Crest Trail
between Mt. Jefferson
and the astonishing Mt.
Hood. We will be on the
trail at the perfect time to witness the snow melting and the flowers blooming.
You will be practicing all of the core skills involved in outdoor living
including campsite selection, firecraft, navigation, clothing and equipment,
food and water prep, personal hygiene
and sanitation, weather forecasting and knots. Participants will also learn and
utilize all of the Leave No Trace principles – so important to maintain our
beautiful wilderness areas. Core Competency Certifications will be possible in the Outdoor Living and Environmental Integration competencies.
