Join education staff from the Butterfly Pavilion and Downtown Aquarium for an interactive workshop featuring hands-on activities from the Project WILD curriculum!
Project WILD is a wildlife focused conservation education program for K-12 educators and their students. One of the most widely used and successful environmental education programs, it is based on the premise of connecting young people to the natural world through meaningful, interactive curriculum. Emphasizing the importance of wildlife within the broader context of conservation issues, it aims to plant the seed of environmental stewardship and help develop responsible, global citizens.
Workshop participants will get up close and personal with the Project WILD curriculum through a variety of fun indoor and outdoor activities. They’ll also leave the workshop with Project WILD tools and resources so they can begin implementing the curriculum within their own outdoor programs.
