Wilderness Travel Summer Camp Job Description

For over 25 years, the Hulbert Outdoor Center has been dedicated to helping people enrich and change their lives through experiential outdoor programs.

From the very beginning, discovering one's inner resources, the meaning of community, and environmental stewardship were fundamental values at the Hulbert Outdoor Center.  These values are passed on today by the talented and compassionate leaders at our Voyageurs Youth Trips camp.

Our passion to provide an educational outdoor experience shines through from every aspect of our trips; from our use of 'teachable moments' to the daily roles we establish for participants.
We believe that Voyageurs Youth Trips provides one of the strongest wilderness and group experiences available to youth in the area, and realize that our leaders are the most important aspect of our success. As a staff, we work hard to provide a safe and exciting wilderness experience, as well as to create a delicate balance of empowerment, trust, and fun. For this reason we seek to employ energetic, talented and dedicated individuals who have the desire to live, learn, and work in an intense and positive environment. If you believe yourself to be such an individual, we encourage you to apply.
